We've been back from the UK for about 2 weeks now and settling back into work and the norm again.
However we did loots of things when we were in the UK.
We went to Dublin where Fabio finally got to go to his Mecca... the Guinness Factory
Met up with Louise and Claire who I haven't seen since I was in South Korea nearly 5 years ago
I went to Cambridge for a few days for a Conference, ate lots of nice food, and went punting
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary
Celebrated Fabio's Birthday
Went to the moonlight flicks in Frodsham park and got soaked in the torrential rain!
Unfortunately my Grandma died but at least we got the chance to see her again and tell her our news. It also meant I was able to meet up with the whole family.
We told everyone our news... that I'm pregnant and I was able to get my first scan
Got a second opinion on my arm (They pretty much said the same at the doctors in Brazil - phew!)
So now it's back in Brazil trying to start organising things for when the baby (boy!!) comes in March!
Oh and huge news, which I nearly forgot, after being threatened with a huge fine as I had "overstayed my tourist visa" (read some idiot had forgot to change my status when I applied for my visa, meaning I had to pay £250 for someone else's mistake) I had no problems coming back and no mention of a fine at all!! Then when we went to our local Federal Police to figure out what had happened, we found out my visa has been approved!!! Only taken about a year!!
